This restaurant is super cute. The second you walk in you feel like you are in Mexico. The food is authentic and delicious. We were excited to try the shrimp cocktail. We also had the sizzling ixtapa fajitas topped with a creamy sauce with shrimp ...highly recommend those!!! The service was just as exquisite. Our server Jose was so attentive to all our needs and truly made our experience amazing.
Chips and salsa were super yummy. The Dr. Pepper was perfect. Fish Tacos for me and I stuffed myself. Less than 25 a person for 4 of us and we even shared a slice of cheesecake.
Wife and I went for a quick lunch and were extremely happy. The chips and salsa were different than we are used to but were excellent. We had enchiladas and tacos, both were great. Service was also very good. Definitely recommend.
Very good! I got the Mexicano Taquitos, they were the BOMB! Definitely recommend if you’re wanting to try a new Mexican atmosphere. Great service, great atmosphere, and very good food.
The beef nachos are amazing. I love the chips! Skip the queso but definitely try the margaritas. You won't be sorry.
I had the shrimp Chalupa‘s and they were delicious, my husband had the fish basket and he only was able to eat half of it. It was also delicious. Our server, Jose, was very friendly and helpful.
Senor Donkey has authentic Mexican cuisine that will make you want more. We started out with homemade chips and salsa. The salsa has a black bean, tomato, and seasoned taste, which was different than any other salsa I've ever had before, and it was surprisingly really good! My husband ordered the tasty chicken chalupas where the chicken was juicy and tender. I ordered the shrimp nachos, which was not on the menu, and paid 6 more for the shrimp. The shrimp nachos are made with homemade chips, refried beans, small bites of shrimp, and a buttery, cheesy queso. The shrimp nachos dish was large and delicious, which was well worth the extra fee spent. Our waiter was very friendly and full of smiles. Senor Donkey sells t-shirts at the front counter as a souvenir.
Very surprised this place isn’t rated higher. We come here at least once every time we come to SPI and we are never disappointed. They are always fast, attentive, service is 10/10, and the food is always good. The beef fajitas have been my favorite dish so far, but the enchiladas and burritos are also good!
